TechCare Bones & Spine

Analysis of X-RAY for Measurements of spine and bones

Product Overview

TechCare Bones is an AI automatic measurement tool. TechCare Bones is indicated only for the following anatomical regions and views: Shoulder: glenoid view also known as a ‘true AP’ or a 'Grashey view'Pelvis: frontal view, weight-bearingHip: Lequesne false-profile view, weight-bearing Leg: frontal and lateral Long-Leg Radiographs, weight-bearing Foot: frontal and lateral views, weight-bearing TechCare Bones is indicated for all ages, but will return warnings when a measurement is done outside the consensus for the generally accepted age range.TechCare Bones is trained to quantify the following measurements:Shoulder:Critical shoulder Angle (CSA)Pelvis: Lateral center-edge angle (VCE), Acetabular roof angle or Tönnis angle (HTE), Cervical-diaphyseal angle (also known as CC’D angle), Pelvic Frontal Asymmetry (PFA),Femoral offset.Hip: VCA anterior coverage angle Leg (Full-Leg Radiographs):Hip-Knee-Ankle angle (HKA), Femoral neck-shaft angle (NSA) (also known as CC’D angle),Femoral offset, Lengths of Femur, Tibia and total leg, Pelvic tilt Foot:M1-P1 angle (Hallux-valgus angle),P1-P2 angle,M1-M2 angle (First-second Intermetatarsal Angle),M1-M5 angle.Djian-Annonier angle,Calcaneal inclination, First metatarsal pitch angle, Talo-first metatarsal angle (or Meary-Tomeno angle)Published accuracy: Our self-reported accuracy for EACH measure is given in our IFU

70% of productivity gain (exams sent in 1 minute when it takes usually 5 to 15 minutes per study for measurements. Published accuracy, very low mean average errors (1)

100% recommendation rate in independent customer survey(1)This study is independent and was performed by an external company

Productivity gain can reach up to 70% (measurements). This allow radiology facilities to create new workflows, and reallocate their human resources. Ability to perform measurements even with the presence of foreign bodies (hip prosthesis), post surgical material. Published accuracy (Zerouali et al.), with high precision (Mean Average Error <4° for most Spino-pelvic measurements) and reproducibility

CASE STUDY In-town Private radiology facility 30k exams per year for trauma 3k exams per year for measurements (ex full legs, full body…). Detection allows to relief nighs shifts and weekends measures, when it takes 15-20mn per radiographer, with Milvue it takes <5mn for control.

Before implementing Milvue, two radiographers were assigned to the X-ray machine for handling measurements. With Milvue, one radiographer can manage the entire process. As a result, the second radiographer has been reassigned to other X-Ray Room, thanks to Milvue's automated measurement system. Impact on activity +80%Before Milvue: 10 exams / 4hWith Milvue: 18 exams / 4hProductivity gain 1 FTE reallocated to other X-Ray room
